Why do I feel this way
Like I want to runaway
Never listen to what they say
When Everyday I feel like clay
Molded to conform to a shape I will never stay
Everday punished for the thought that may
Start to sway the conformed against their way
but still forced to keep my independence at bay.

Why do they push hate
Using every attempt to discriminate
Segregate
And proclamate the superiority
of a complex based on inferiority
I will not negate the minority
or negotiate my authority
to propagate an identity
that doesn't intimidate the entirety.

Instead why not use knowledge as a base
to face those who perpetuate the plight of race
a gender's place, or independant thought's case
The differences we see should not be empty space
but rather the ground we use to embrace
individuality, reduce fatality and promote the true reality
that hate should not placate that which is great
So that Everyday you say what you need to say
and that way you may feel this way.
